Does anybody know what these two things for, above the 2 black screws? My machine did not come with Instructional DVD as stated on Griot's Garage site. I purchased my machine from AG. Thanks.

When I put on the 3.5' or 5" backing plate on my Griot's the plates look off centered. Is this normal? The 6" backing plate that came with the machine is almost right on center. Thanks!

I just got my Makita 9227C, with the Advanced Curved 8.5 inch CCS Foam Pad Kit. I noticed when using the machine it’s very hard to control. It wants to jump all over the place. How do I prevent this from happening? Thanks.

After I apply Meg’s 105 & 205, can I then go ahead and apply WG’s Paint Polish and Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant over the Meg’s product, or should I clean the paint first with Griot’s Garage Paint Prep? Note: I order the Meg's 105/205 to remove swirls and scratches that WG could not get out. I...
