I have a set of black mats with silver trim. My concern is how to keep the SXT letters that are centered on the mats clean. Is there a scotch guard or some other protector I can use?

lMy plan is to wash, clay,buff,polish,and seal. At what point in this seqence should I attack swrills, and what is the best product to use with a pc 7424. I have bright silver paint on a 06 Magnum.

I have seen many techniques to attain the perfect finish and maybe someone can tell me if I'm on the right track. Would polishing, claying, sealing, then buffing be the way to go? Or, does anyone know from experience a better system? Share the wisdom. My Magnum has bright silver paint...
I'm going to apply a paint sealant to my Mag SXT
I'm wondering if it would be better to rag off and then buff the finish, or just buff from the start for the best results.
