I decided to use M105 with my Flex 3401 and an orange LC CCS pad. Next I followed up with M205 and a white LC pad using my makita rotary. This seems to produce an nice result. Is it common to start with a DA and then finish with a rotary or do I have the process backyards?

After reading various posts, I decided to get both Super Intensive Polish and Intensive Polish. After looking at the chart at the back, both have nearly an identical cut. Do I even need IP? or just stick with SIP? or keep them both?

Has anyone used Diamondite Shield 5oz? I just ordered two aerosol cans, but is seems to me that they may not go too far once you start to spray. Has anyone used this product. I am afraid to use it. It is pricey. I want to use it to seal the windshield after polishing.

Mike, I used UC to work a small area (penny size) on hood...Kinda hazy as I did it by hand just to see if bird dropping mark could be improved. Need to remove haze and swirl marks. Any ideas?? (imola red paint on BMW 330i). Had some suggestions by some other members and also talked to Meguiar...

I used Meguiar's Ultimate Polishing Compound on a size of a penny to clean bird dropping. I was able to get most of the minor etching out by hand. Now that area looks dull.
