Help - plastic screen stained by 303

Well folks, this is a new one for me. I've always used 303 interior protectant with no issues. But today I over sprayed some 303 on my dash and it splattered up onto a small plastic screen that sits up high, on the center of my dash. I thought I wiped it off, but after the detail I went for a...

    2019 Mustang GT hand polished

Man, I haven't detailed the GT in, oh...., 9 months? Between the pandemic, life, and work, I just haven't gotten around to it. And my old back has been giving me issues. Anyway, Griot's waterless wash, Klasse AIO by hand, Griot's spray wax, Poorboy's trim dressing, tire shine of some kind. 303...

    New Mustang GT convertible

Hello AG! I used to be here quite a bit in the past, but frankly I wasn't doing much detailing due to owning a boring car that I wasn't very enthusiastic about maintaining, a broken wrist, and some other life-stuff. Anyway, wrist is healed and the the boring car is gone. I ordered this 2019...

    Poorboys Waterless questions

Hell AGO folks, I've got a couple of questions regarding Poorboy's waterless wash. I used the waterless wash for the first time yesterday and I had mixed results and wanted your expertise, tips and tricks. 1. I used almost half the bottle on a Honda Accord. This seems excessive, but I wanted...

    Car wash in the dark

You know you're into detailing when you wash your black car before work in the morning. In the dark. I'd show you pictures, but uh....it's a black car. In the dark. It probably sounds crazy, but I've washed it so many times I know the exact routine (top, trunk, sides, etc) so I wasn't too...

    Home from work = Wax

What to do after a long day at the office? Break out the Natty's Blue! Here's a few shots of my new 2013 Accord Sport with the 6 speed manual after a coat of Natty's blue. Question to AG staff about AutoFiber Car Wash Mop Pad

AG, In the BOGO section, there's a cool microfiber mop head by AutoFiber. In the description it says you have to buy the handle and mop head separately. But there's no link to the handle and when I go to look at products by name - AutoFiber isn't listed as a vendor at all. Do you carry...

2011 Charger Daily Driver Spring Clean

I knew I wanted to get my Dodge Charger R/T cleaned up this weekend. Being a black car, daily driver, with no garage, I knew there were swirls that needed to be polished out. It was also in the body shop last fall to replace the front passenger fender due to little fender bender I had. And there...

What should I look for in a repair/repaint?

Folks, my 2011 black Charger is in the body shop after the crash I had. It's getting the passenger fender replaced. The adjuster told me they would be blending the paint into the hood and passenger door. This scares me and I'm hoping they do a good job. What should I look for when I go to pick...

That will NOT buff out! Or, I'm a bonehead.

So............after a very long and very stressful week full of 12+ hour days I hop in my 2011 Dodge Charger R/T after work. It's been sitting in the garage all day staying nice and protected from the weather. In fact I just waxed it with Collinite 845 2 weekends ago and it's been looking great...

Detailed the rear of the Charger

Well, after a years worth of outdoor living and daily driving, the rear trunk lid, spoiler, and top of the bumper were pretty bad on my 2011 Charger. They had a few RIDs, some holograms, and couple of minor water spots. I used Megs D151 AIO a few months back, but it didn't get out the deeper...

    Confessions of a n00b

So last year was my first summer detailing using the methods I've learned from Mike, Auotgeek, and you helpful people here at AG. Frankly, I couldn't be happier; I've detailed the family cars and they have all turned out great. But, looking at my black 2011 Dodge Charger R/T this spring, there...

    Outside storage?

OK, so I've searched and found some answers, but not the ones I was looking for, ha-ha! I have no garage and we're about to kick off some remodeling in the house. I'm going to have to store my detailing products outside in the shed. I live in Washington DC and although the weather's been warm...

    Clay, amazing clay

So I clayed my 2011 Dodge Charger last night for the first time. I've owned it for 3 months and figured not much would come off on the clay. Boy was I wrong! It was very very dirty. Clay is just amazing as a product and process. What did we ever do without it? :xyxthumbs:
