Talked to a guy here in Jax about removing the orange peel from my paint, he said he drysands instead of wetsanding.How good is this over wet sanding?

Looking for someone that wetsands have a 87 Grand National that ,I would like wet sanded but have not found anyone that does it so looking here.

My paint is 10 yrs old , PPG paint was used still looks good but has have some orange peel in it along with light scrathes not to the paint. Talked to a painter local to me close to Jacksonville fl and he did try a spot on the fender and the sanding marks came out ok not sure what grit he used...
