Has anyone else found it difficult to get your pad clean when using New Formula Optimum Compound? It is not soluble in the wash solution like other products that I have used. Micro-Restore and Snappy Clean is what I use.:mad:

Who has been successful removing orange peel? I'm talking about a 2000 GM made product, factory paint. Are you able to knock it down with a rotary and compound or do you have to wet sand? Would you remove too much clear coat by the time you leveled the orange peel? I don't have a paint...

I have a old rotary buffer, without a speed control. Do any of you Autogeekers know where I can purchase a speed control I can plug this rotary into. Years ago I had such a control, don't know what happened to it.
