MTM hydro sgs28 and ar blue clean/Power play

My issue here is that AR uses a part number similar to AL555 to connect its hose to the whatever attachment is on the end. I just ordered an SGS28 for detailing and im trying to figure out the attachment if any that would work for my setup to connect from the pressure hose to the gun. AR uses a...

    Griots Surface prep wash

Needed a strip wash and found griots basically checked alot of hypothetical boxes so went with it from autopia. I most likely will be using 10:1 as directed in a foam cannon. Just want to know if anyone had experiences with it. Does it strip easy? How long did you wait? Did you follow up with a...

What wheel brush to get next

I had the bigger daytona speed master for years and the handle finally rusted out and broke off after hard use. Overall I liked it but it tended to splash and stain clothes. I now have a small daytona, a stiff tire brush, a mothers short wheel brush and some hazard fraught knock off brush thing...

Just curious on sales and how you buy

Wondering if you buy through the sales even if you have some of the item already available to you at home or you use the sale for something else like trying something new or to stock up on something you ran out of? Just peaked my curiosity and wanted to see others buying preferences

    Recs for towel storage

I know we are all a bit snobby about our towels. I unfortunately do not have huge cabinet space so I store them in one sterlite brand pull out container. I wanted to try and use stacking containers with a flip lid or the bins that stack and you can reach in and grab anything. Was wondering if...

Can I polish tool chrome with a da?

I have a 1940s snap on ratchet that I removed the rust off of but then its kinda dull. I was wondering if I could techincally run my da on low speed with a metal polish to try and machine clean it instead of hand work. Maybe give it a test spot first?

How does everyone store their wrenches?

Bought a 26 piece craftsman metric set. Got it for about half off. The box it came in is just okay. I will probably need to buy something to store them in for use on the go. Was thinking a tool roll or a husky bag from home depot, any ideas?

I had asked meguiars if they would do a gallon of their ultimate wheel cleaner as people were using it on paint kinda like Adams did. It seemed they listened to me and came up with an 80 dollar gallon with longer work time and stronger formulation. Hopefully it does well. Looks interesting
