    removing gum from paint

    Well someone thought it wise to stick gum to my truck, twice..... I not really sure how to remove the leftovers from when I pulled the gum off. The best I can think of is bug and tar remover, however I feel if i scrub it'll just spread the gum residue around. How would you go about it?
