What do you guys use on your inner wheel well to make them nice in black. Do you just wash them or do you use anything else on them?

Well I've got my first detail coming on my car (black 2010 Escalade) this week. I'm just wondering how important the IPA wipe down was. This was my order. Wash with Dawn Iron X Clay Flex 3401 - LC orange pad - BF SRC compound LC white pad - BF GE polish By hand or LC red pad - BF Black Ice

I was just wondering what the difference between the two is? One of these would be my next step after BF SRC. Thoughts?

I was wondering if you can use Iron X on chrome wheels? I heard chrome wheels are really soft so I wasn't sure how the wheels would react to them. Thoughts?

Ok so I'm a total noob with all this stuff but it looks like using a DA polisher is the cats meow. My problem is I lack the confidence to use one and I'm trying do do some paint correction (swirl marks) on a BLACK Escalade. I've watched enough Porter Cable videos and it doesn't look that hard...

Are there any waxes that are recommended specifically for a black car? I read the review of the new Black Ice wax but $150 just for the wax seems way over pricd. Also I'll be doing this by hand.
