Taught troops how to detail a 95 single stage wrecker

In order to teach my Airmen "attention to detail" I taught them how to detail an old single stage paint wrecker. We used megs7 2 Griot buffers And a bunch of LCC orange pads. There was a lot of dead paint but I wanted to preserve as much as possible. I had them coat it and let it sit over...

    F150 corrected

From 10 feet or more the truck looked great but once you got up close you could see it had a lot of scratches and swirls. Using the Ultimate combo the paint turned out pretty good. But clearer the paint became the more pitting and touch-up paint started to show. The customer was very happy...

    Detailed Jeep

My daughters boyfriend was nice enough to paint one of our rooms a few weeks ago. Since I didn't have to do it I had to show him how much I appreciated it. It was an old work Jeep that needed a little attention. The body was clear coat but the top was a single stage. The top I used Meguires...

    06 gto

Wow this thing needed some work. I was hired through family to travel down to Florida to detail a few cars. So not a bad deal when combined with a lil family time and make some money in the process. The hood and trunk were in really bad shape on this thing. It had severe oxidation and deep...

A friend asked me a question the other day and I don't know the answer. The question is, can you wax/seal your car too much that it would be bad for the paint?

Advice on old single stage vette

In a few weeks I'll have a late 50's or early 60's vette. It's red single stage paint. It's in great shape, garage kept and has no signs of oxidation. It does have a lot of swirls and rids. I'll probably start with mcguires 7 glaze and let it sit over night. Would you guys recommend going for...
