Before I install my tips, I want to protect them the best I can. I've got Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant and Carpro Dlux. What should I use to protect the tips?

So I just got new plates for my new car. I'm going to protect my front bumper anyway, so I might as well protect my plates. Would it be safe to apply carpro cquartz dlux on the plates? Should I wait a couple of months because the plates are new and they might have put on some reflective paint...

Would it be okay to use cotton pads to apply opti-lens to my plastic light covers and to use cotton pads to apply carpro cquartz dlux to my plastic and rubber trim? I think I would get better control and finesse with cotton pads rather than the large bulky towels and pads.

What would happen if you never wiped off the paint sealant after applying? I applied it on my wheels, but they still have a nice shine. Nothing bad would happen? I like the extra protection.
