So a couple days ago i detailed this lexus GX470 (love the color!) Some background on this car: It's not that old (she's had it 6 months) and it's been through too many auto washes (lots of little swirls). She also drives carpool in the morning, so there are a bunch of spills and sticky messes...

so the other day i tried working on my old 5 series (bmw) and it took a couple passes w/ xmt 4 and orange pad to get SOME of the swirls out. i just went over the hood of my mom's gx470 (lexus) w/ xmt 3 and orange pad and it got out all the swirls and the paint was shiney reflextive etc...

sooo hard.. i got most of the swirls off a 10 year old car that has never been detailed using xmt 4 w/ orange pad, and xmt 1 w/ white pad... jesus. pics later when i finish the car.

can i use the PC to apply it? what pad should i use? or how else could i apply it (i don't think i have any applicator pads
