Wolfgang 3.0 DPGS Sealant and Pinnacle Black Onyx Tire Gel Reviews

Want to thank Meghan for sending me the samples to try and review. I am an official sealant/tire gel OCD experimenter. Always looking for a great look, easy application/removal and decent but not necessarily extreme durability as I like applying them at least once a month. Wish I had pics to...

New DP Rinseless Wash and Gloss review

Meghan was kind enough to send me a bottle of the new product (formerly DP 4-1) to test out. Here are the findings compared to my beloved ONR. By the way I am a rinseless geek and haven't used a hose in over a year. Concentration. Much improved over the former 4-1 chemistry. Only need half as...

Tried Something new today--and it worked

Love keeping the car clean and am especially anal about the windshield. Gotta be crystal clear. But for some reason my windshield gets little aggravating nicks from road debris and its tough keeping them clean of dirt. Usually use something like DG 501 and white or orange pad but the polish...

Help Needed with EZ Auto Detailing Brush

Need some help using the brush. I like the long reach for inside the rim spokes but every time I pull out the brush, it flicks brake dust all over. Works a little better immersed with car soap but the flicking drives me crazy and covers me in wet brake dust spots. Wondering if there's a simple...

    EZ Detail Brush?

Anyone used this? If so, how does it hold up? Looks promising especially for the hard to reach back of rims. In the market for a new wheel brush and haven't been wowed by anything so far. Penny for your thoughts...maybe two.

    Glass polishing pads?

Has anyone tried these? I've used 4" orange/white pads with a PC but wondering if these work better with an AIO (I use DG 501).

    Wolfgang 3.0 Does it Again

Recently tried Wolfgang 3.0 Total Swirl Remover on my son's 2000 VW Passat. Used a PC with 4" orange and white pads. Given the hard VW paint, the process was fairly easy and came out great. As stated many times on this forum 4" pads with a PC is a must as 5.5" pads didn't do trick for paint...

Times Using Rinseless Wash vs. Car Shampoos?

Since becoming a convert to the ONR type washing, my once beloved DG 902 car shampoo sits in the garage untouched...My car doesn't get that dirty and it's just so much easier, quicker and saves water. Just curious what everyone in here use the most? Although those foam guns sure look fun!

    Best/Worst Car Options

After driving a basic loaner yesterday I decided there are several car options that I must have to enhance my driving experience. It was actually deflating driving the loaner and couldn't wait to get my ride back. Getting high-maintenance in my old age... Also some that I don't or not sure...

    Black vs. Silver

Been into detailing since picking up an Audi year and half ago (thank you AG). It's always a pleasure and rewarding working on nice paint. The silver metallic looks great in low-light conditions (love the dusk). But I've always been envious of the remarkable reflections by the click and brag...

    New Wolfgang 3.0 Twins Review

The lovely Meghan sent me out the Wolfgang 3.0 Total Swirl Remover and Finishing Glaze to test and review. Thank you Meghan. Quick background; have an '07 Audi with silver metallic paint. Very hard clearcoat. Have tried OP but didn't cut through the swirls or light scratches enough at least...

The Most OCD Thing You Do To Your Car

Figure most Geeks have at least one OCD quirk with their beloved autos. Mine is QD'ing the hood every night to remove all dust so I can look at the hood reflection while I drive. Oh, have to clean the windshield too. I also wipe down the wheels every couple of days. Guess I could have a more...

Best wheel well dressing for Audi??

I usually just wipe down with ONR but was wondering what would make them look better. The Audi has almost a cloth-like wheel well covering and not sure what to apply. Thanks much.

    Newbie PC questions

I will be taking the PC plunge. I only work on my own car and the paint is in great shape but want to cut my polishing teeth (so to speak). So, I'm not interested yet in the UDM or Flex. Should I get the 7424 or another brand (Makita etc) and buy individual pads or maybe get one of the AG kits...

    Why Detailing Makes You Smarter

Thought of this while driving today...me thinks I need a life. Why detailing makes you smarter Worried about flying rocks=less tailgating especially behind trucks Hate excessive brake dust=anticipating stops by cruising up instead of slamming brakes Rinseless washing=saving water Sparkling...

    Very Alarming Discovery!

Awhile back, I noticed some weird bubbling and flaking on my '07 Audi A6 hood. First the dealer thought it was merely rock chips. However several excellent detailers thought it was a paint defect as the paint and clearcoat was flaking away. So, I took it back to the dealer for another look see...

    FC&S (521) over Liquid Souveran...?

I'm an admitted QD-a-holic. Love to use the 521 whenever the car gets dusty--especially the hood so I can look at it shine while driving. Good news is no marring so far on the paint. That Audi clearcoat is like armor. Question is will the cleaning properties of the 521 take off a Liquid...
