My concern about 845 is the high solvent concentration. It will probably hurt KSG.

I was thinking about the best possible combo for this winter. I want a topping wax that would contain as less solvent as possible to avoid affecting KSG. Would 2 layers of KSG + 2 layers of FK1000P be the ultimate winter combo?

I've tried pretty much every method (mitt, sponge, towels) with ONR. I prefer a good quality MF (like Eshine's Cookie Monster), because it offers a better contact surface, is easier to manipulate, is very soft so applies less pressure, and doesn't scratch at all.

It also depends on the expected finish of the car. When I do a sports car or show car, the owner expects nothing less than this: Not a single swirl remaining, no marring, not a single hologram. Obviously, this cannot be done in 4 hours.

And this is my new favorite combo for blacks! Powerlock gives the clarity, Souveran gives the wet look. :dblthumb2:

Hey fellow detailers, I need to do a heavy compound on a Chevy Avalanche and don't know what kind of clear hardness to expect. Is it similar to the newer Corvettes and Mustangs (medium to hard), or if it's as soft as let's say a Honda? Thanks
