    M16 versus P21S

I've tried both, and they are very different. P21S has a consistency and ease similar to Souveran, while M16 compares to Collinite. Same for durability.

The worst looking panel you ever encountered - PHOTOS

Improper washing. :wow: With my Flex 3401, it took: - 2x KB Methods (M105 on orange pad) - 1x SIP on white pad - 1x P0106FF on black pad Followed by a course about proper washing methods.

    KSG + FK1000P, Overkill?

My concern about 845 is the high solvent concentration. It will probably hurt KSG.

    KSG + FK1000P, Overkill?

I was thinking about the best possible combo for this winter. I want a topping wax that would contain as less solvent as possible to avoid affecting KSG. Would 2 layers of KSG + 2 layers of FK1000P be the ultimate winter combo?

Suggest a wash mit specifically for ONR.

I've tried pretty much every method (mitt, sponge, towels) with ONR. I prefer a good quality MF (like Eshine's Cookie Monster), because it offers a better contact surface, is easier to manipulate, is very soft so applies less pressure, and doesn't scratch at all.

How long should it take for one person....

It also depends on the expected finish of the car. When I do a sports car or show car, the owner expects nothing less than this: Not a single swirl remaining, no marring, not a single hologram. Obviously, this cannot be done in 4 hours.

    Just tried Powerlock + Souveran

And this is my new favorite combo for blacks! Powerlock gives the clarity, Souveran gives the wet look. :dblthumb2:

    Power Lock durability

Thanks for the info. So the consensus is that the protection weakens on the horizontal surfaces after 3-3.5 months?

Heheheh yeah, I was going to do the tape/multiple products test, but wanted to gather some info just out of curiosity. Machine: Flex 3401 Products: will tape some areas and do a comparison between: - White pad and a mix of 75% SIP / 25% PO106FF - White pad and SIP - Orange pad and SIP - KB...

Chevy Avalanche - What kind of clear hardness?

Hey fellow detailers, I need to do a heavy compound on a Chevy Avalanche and don't know what kind of clear hardness to expect. Is it similar to the newer Corvettes and Mustangs (medium to hard), or if it's as soft as let's say a Honda? Thanks

    Power Lock durability

Hey fellow detailers, I know that this question has been asked over and over, but I wasn't able to find a clear answer to this. Since Power Lock was released 3 months ago, has anybody observed a lack of durability? Thanks, Yan
