perfect, dude. i thought it would be cool to see what the rest of the country/world is doing, and to have input from various forum members. a definitive source is always handy, but c'mon guys, this is a forum. let's have some fun. :cool:

cool and all, but how about a forum sticky? yeah, i know the store and forum go hand in hand, but what about user tips? you know, like what works for some, or what doesn't. something with "community" input would be cool. one source is nice, but sometimes you just wanna know what your neighbors...

we should have a detailing faq, or some type of sticky of "do's and don'ts", detailing myths, tips and tricks etc. this would be good for both novice and professional. we could even make it brand specific or whatnot. or combos... anyone wanna start one? :)

sadly, yes. :( however, my "glance attack" is pretty advanced. split seconds are important. if it's a female ogre or medusa in the car, gotta make sure to turn away quick lest i be turned to stone...or hurl in my car. :D

my sounds/ice is just personal. everything is being re-done right now, more fiberglass and new gear. it's been storming so i haven't been able to work on my box/amp rack or door panels. but at least my ride is looking sweet! :D ...until i hit the potholes filled with dirty water. :mad...

i think at one time i fell into the mindset that all microfiber products must be the best...yeah, that was short lived. i too prefer foam app's for the exact same reason you listed. :)

thanks matt! i am obsessed with doing my car. i have the liquid souveran kit. even tho it's been storming this entire week, i was still detailing my ride in the garage....it'd get dirty somewhat, but it only gave me a reason to use more of the souveran kit. LOL :D

ppl are always looking at me/my car. doesn't bother me in the least. i only look at others if it's a pretty girl(s). other than that...nah, i don't checkout other ppl's rides.

i'm wondering if anyone knows how old some of the kits are? specifically, the kit off of cardomain? it was a solid price, even with shipping, but i seem to have read somewhere the earlier kits included cobra mf towels? well those were in the kit... so i'm curious how old the kit is and if...

hehe, it does smell good. :p so far my faves are pinnacle bodywork shampoo and meguiar's gold class. i used some auto dealership armor all shampoo and it "did the job". but i only used it bc i had a 5gal bucket.
