UPDATE.... I decided to take my car to Ivan over at LUSTR Detail. He went over my car and gave me an awesome 2 Step polishing and when I picked up the car it was better than new. I appreciate all the positive input that everyone posted for me on this site. Now I am onto getting my money back...

I do most everything by hand. Someone recomended to take it to a shop for the initial detailing, then do it all myself. Anyone know a good shop in the western suburbs of Illinois? Thanks for the quick replies.

Am better to use a sealant on my 2006 Mercedes E550 or my Zymol Concours wax. I was always told to stay away from sealants (IE: Liquid Glass) and to use wax. Thanks in advance

Good morning. I just purchased a used MB E500 4matic (Black/Tan) and would like to clean the tan carpets but have never had an auto with a tan interior. Can anyone give a new guy some help in which products to use to spot clean some dirt spots and clean the overall carpets and tan leather...

I am doing everything by hand as I was told this is best for the vehicle. It was detailed by a local shop 6 months ago, but they did a HORRIBLE job. Any recommendations would be great. Thank you
