What about using a IPA wipe down to remove old wax before applying new? Doing so would give the new wax or sealant a better bonding surface to provide longer lasting protection

I agree with to much polish as I have done the same thing. I had a pro detailer polish my car with menzerna 106ff with a obrital and the amount of polish used was shocking! On a pad 4 dots were use thats it per section. Like killer said hazing is from not heating up the polish enough to do its job.

There is carnuaba wax in alot of the pills we take everyday! The wax is a coating on the outside of the pill making it easier to swallow.

Next time we will take better pics. The last pics really show the color depth of the paint. The car will have a bigger turbo set up next year for that 10 second pass. This year was dedicated to restoring the body and paint.

This has been a question of mine and I havent found a rock solid answer. On a properly prepped/ polished surface will a glaze affect the bonding of the sealant to the paint. From what I understand the glazes have alot of fillers/oils in them that I would think affect the sealant from bonding...

You use to much and it acts to much like a lube not alowing the polish to break down and do its job.

You just need to learn how the polish breaks down. What buffer are you using to apply it with?

The polish I will be using is poorboys SSR2 & SSR1
