That doesn't matter, because Exterior Trim Detailer is a white liquid. It doesn't cover up by using a black shoe cream putty that is applied on top of the polish. like most other trim detailers do

Wouldn't you get the best readings when measuring in the paint, instead of on the paint:D .

Just wash the areas... You only have to be carefull when hosing it down, though... You should however use a different brush/pad/rag than the one you use for the exterior panels.

Try Meguiars Trim Detailer. First degrease the surface and apply with a pad/brush. This will give a natural shine.

I noticed on the Dutch Meguiars forum, a lot of people are using polishers you can buy at the local hardware store, like Makita, DeWalt, etc. I think the non-US readers will understand why.

Where these scratches in line with the clay path (that is, did the clay leave the scratches)? Did you hear scratching sounds when claying? If a car has never been clayed before, you will be uncovering all the damage that was already in the paint. I agree with Neothin. The clay has to float...

I use Meg All Purpose Cleaner for my upholstry. Works great.:righton:. . Advantage is also, that you can use it on other surfaces (eg. wheelbays, engine etc.) too.

How about using a normal vacuum cleaner, combined with Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner and the All Surface Interiour brush. Works great for me.
