Thanks, Guy's 2011 F-250 Yes, I always keep it clean and waxed and it's not my daily driver. Use it to tow my camper and as needed around town for truck errands. After a thorough cleaning and wax job I have to even use it. :laughing:

Collinite 476 wax on my 10 year old truck done by hand as recommended. I hope this makes it thru the winter.

I will use a microfiber and do it by hand as has been recommended. Not a big deal just being lazy I suppose. I will try waiting just a few minuets and then remove the wax. Perhaps waiting too long is what makes it hard to remove. I thought the wax won't really come off until it dries out a bit...

I don't know if i would get involved with mold that bad. Maybe if the owner took the seats out and brought it to you, you could do a proper job on it. You could use a bleach solution and then hose it down and dry in the sun. I never thought mold would grow on vinyl.

If you are worried about dealer installed swirls and the car isn't to dirty tell him not to wash it. Do look the car over carefully for scratches before you take it off the lot. If it is really dirty you may have to let them wash it so you can inspect it properly. This was my situation when I...

I also rinse the foam off the car before my 2 bucket wash. If I leave the foam on the car I find that I have to play beat the clock to get done before the soap starts to dry on the car. Maybe in cooler weather you might be able to get away without rinsing first.
