Best Snow Removal Brush out there?

I just ordered the Snobrum. However, I found the OXO snow brush on line as well, and someone on here mentioned having used that as well. I may end up ordering that one at some point to aid in cleaning the windshield, and other cracks/crevices. The bristles appeared to be very soft. I admit...

Best Snow Removal Brush out there?

Can't leave snow or ice on a car. There's laws in NY, NJ and CT that you can get a ticket for doing that. So, not an option. I was looking at the Snobrum, just wanted others thoughts. Thanks for the feedback! -Ed

Best Snow Removal Brush out there?

Happy Holidays everyone. I am in search of a snow removal brush that (wishful thinking perhaps) won't scratch my paint. What do some of you use? Any recommendations appreciated. -Ed

Someone hit my car and drove off....

I once had a car that was a magnet for getting damaged. After a couple of times of getting it fixed ( I had done everything to avoid it getting hit by others) I finally threw my hands in the air. A daily driver is hard to keep dent and damage free for the most part. I usually have a parking...

The most toxic product you have used/use

FUNX725, are you the in house chemist? You know a lot, and I enjoy your informative posts. I, too, read up on MSDS's on products that I am considering buying for specific tasks. I also want to make sure it's safe on paint or whatever else I am working on. I saw the MSDS for ZEP Purple...

The most toxic product you have used/use

Hello everyone! I've doing a lot of reading on a variety of products specifically for the detailing world and some products not necessarily designated for use in detailing like xylene and isopropyl alcohol. I know there are a few acid based wheel cleaners out there too. My question to...

    s100 motorcycle cleaner

I have some of this. Could anyone tell me how exactly to use it? Can you spray it on a dry vehicle, let it sit for a few seconds and wipe off with a microfiber cloth? Or is it something you use in conjunction with car wash soap on a wet vehicle?

    Zep product dilution

I wanted to bump this thread. I'm glad I found it. My local WalMart has 3 Zep products as I am in need of a good degreaser for cleaning my really dirty MF's and for some general cleaning. Curently I use Knight's Spray Nine as an APC, but... Which is the most powerful? Zep Purple, Citrus, or...

How To: "Your Car is THAT Dirty?" - Time Saving Wash Tools & Techniques

I have a huge container of P21S in my closet that I stopped using after it discolored the bumper of a 2004 Toyota 4Runner I once owned (left a nasty haze). I had wet the front bumper, let it sit for a minute or two, then washed it off with soap I had at the time. I wonder if my technique is...

    TRIX Tar and Iron Remover

I was afraid to do so with Carpro SnowSoap. Perhaps I should try that when I use my Meg's Gold Class shampoo. I didn't think to try that.

Review: Hybrid V7 by Chemical Guys

Thanks for the review. I've considered purchasing some, but I think it will wait until next year, because, as you know it's getting to a point in the Northeast that you cannot do much outdoors especially in the cold. I live in a condo, too. Nosy neighbors and haters.

    TRIX Tar and Iron Remover

I take it you mean CG Citrus wash was over Mr. Pink? How about CG red wash? I don't care about removing the wax/sealant. I use Meg's Ulitmate spray wax afterward when time is limited.

Shine and Review: White Camry Meet White Wax

I am using WW on my white Sentra, and it IS amazing stuff isn't it? I love how easy it comes off as opposed to Collinite 845. Car looks awesome, BTW. Nice job!

    TRIX Tar and Iron Remover

I was actually looking into Mr. Pink. I was hoping to find something to spray on during the washing process to make things faster. Not trying to be lazy here, but I have found washing a white car takes a lot more work since it reveals more than I'd like to see. :(

    TRIX Tar and Iron Remover

I don't remember seeing this before. Is this something new? Has anyone tried it and if you have, I'd like to hear your experiences with it. I have been using Carpro SnowSoap on my white Nissan because it seems to be the only thing that removes dirt and most importantly bug splatter on my...

Going to get the tint done in a few months :xyxthumbs: Cars are 2013's, so the AC's are in top shape. Funny about the house AC, the builder is letting me choose the manufacturer. I understand Carrier, York and Lennox are really good. Do you have a preference? Also, I contemplated having...

PH of car soaps on the market

Wow, I am overwhelmed by the responses I got to this thread. I really appreciate the answers, and it has brought some clarity for me. Why I asked this question: I am no chemist, but I found that using a soap like Meg's Gold Class or Ultimate Wash and Wax wasn't doing the trick on my white...
