Stopping the progression of clear coat failure.

Mike, Thank you for your reply. When I first saw it, it appeared like it was a crack on the clear coat. There was no dent or any signs of an impact from an object so I thought it was a failure on the clear coat. I then did several searches and did come across your definition of a clear coat...

Stopping the progression of clear coat failure.

Mike, No my clear coat is in a lot better shape then that. This is not the best picture to show it, but you can make out the crow’s foot. I will try to take better pictures tonight.

Stopping the progression of clear coat failure.

Hey Guys, Well after reading multiple forums, it looks like the clear coat on my car is in the onset of failing. I noticed the crow’s foot, or three sided star on a section of my car. I only see one crow’s foot on my car, but the reflection in that area in question is not as sharp as the rest...

Deep Gloss Auto Salon: Black Focus vs M105 KBM

Wow great job on the Focus. It is nice to see a comparison on M105/M205 KB method and SIP/106FF. I am not sure if it is the angle or it’s because of the different products used. The picture with the SIP/106FF appears that the metallic flacks on the paint stand out more then the pictures done...

    Poorboys EX Question

Hey Guys, I don’t mean to high jack this thread. I am still new to detailing and had a question that popped into my head when I read the thread. When sealant or wax has cured say for 24 hours, and you are ready for a second coat, would you re-wash your car? Or would you just use a Quick...
