    Mighty Lite II

No. And that is pointless. Once it reaches the set temp the element shuts down which is at about 10 mins on mine. I tried it anyway and still no result. I will never buy another Mighty Lite! Was the biggest waste of 800 bucks ever. I would have gone to home depot and got a Rug Doctor for 400 if...

    3m compound is the Shiznit!

After trying multiple compounds including M105 and M205 and often getting disgusted with the results from the 105 (being very finicky) I tried 3M compound, finishing polish, and ultra finishing polish. It is their "Perfect It" line. It is the best stuff I have ever used. Very easy. Doesnt care...

what is with all these abbreviations???

No I dont want to "get the hang of it" I dont have time for that. I want to read something and know what it is. I know there is a list as I previously stated but I refuse to "study it". As far as Meguiars products, saying the numbers is ok, after all they label their products by numbers. However...

what is with all these abbreviations???

This has been driving me nuts for ever! I just don't get If we are taking our...

    2006 Topless Mustang

No really learning curve for wax or sealant. Pretty much idiot proof. You can do it but you will use alot of product thats all. The learning curve comes in when you start polishing and compounding by machine. Nice car by the way.

    drying a car from rain

I dry my truck and my girlfriends black mustang after every rain using a California blade and an absorber. Both underwent a 2 stage compounding to rid of swirls and I have seen none since I stared wiping away the rain. Been doing it for months.

    2006 Topless Mustang

All seems good to me except there is no need to re wash after claying if you just use water or QD and wipe as you go. Also I would not apply sealant or wax with a buffing pad as it soaks up waaaaay to much product. Good luck

How long does it take you to wash?

An average vehicle takes me about 30 mins. A very dirty one about 45 mins. That is using two buckets. I always do the tires and wheels first that way the water is not sitting on the paint the whole time I'm doing other things.

Where can I get stickers, decals, banners, etc?

Hey. I wana start off by saying you guys on here are the best! It is still amazing to me how there is never any name calling, finger pointing, or "why didnt you do it this way" attitudes. Everyone is just so willing to give their own opinions and let people take it for what its worth. Great job...

Finishing touch: Black or Blue pad.

Awesome! Thats what I wanted to hear. I guess I'll order some more wool pads within the next week or so. I have another Vette to do (which I experienced has ridiculously hard clear!)in about 2 weeks so I will try them out on that. I don't get holograms by using only the buffer it just threw me...

Finishing touch: Black or Blue pad.

Mike.. I was just curious. Do you use a DA polisher for your final polish or do you use a rotary for that too? Also do you have any experience with using wool polishing pads? I love using the wool cutting pads as opposed to using an orange foam. I find it follows the contours of the vehicle...
