Black Vette here....I use a duster on the rear every now and then between washes as the butt of a Vette gets real dirty real fast....my latest favorite QD is Chemical Guys with Anti Static which I follow the duster with....and it seems to really work :props:

Thankfully I dont wash my car regularly there...but thats a great tip thanks :cheers:

Yeah...never again...I should have taken the time...I was in a rush, the wife and kids wanted to get to the beach etc....but man...how much damage just water can cause....:(

So...Im out in East Hampton...a little dust on the Vette (Black 2008 C-6)...decide to give it a little spray down...sheet the water off...and I dont towel dry the rest.....therein lies the problem... I come back after going to the beach and BOOM....hard water spots EVERYWHERE....:eek: I wash...

two weeks ago I did a full Menzerna PC session followed by Black Hole and Souveran...and it still left spots...:mad:

Garage kept C6 Black Vette....will re apply every 2 - 3 weeks....its a sickness what can I say :buffing:

How long does Souveran take to cure?

Not me....help me make it stop...:buffing:

Ordered the Souveran....now I have Dodo Purple Haze, Dodo Blue Velvet, Poor Boys Black Hole Glaze, Petes '53 Black Pearl (which I havent even tried yet)...and now awaiting the Souveran...this is a sickness...help me make it stop!! :buffing:

Thanks...so it wont hurt but it might be a waste of time using the glaze again...

Went the whole machine polish route....pretty satisfied with my results... Used Black Hole, then Dodo Blue Velvet and topped it off with Dodo Purple haze...car looks great :cool: My question is, can I add another layer of Black Hole on top of this and then some more Dodo?

I have bothe Blue Velvet and Purple Haze...(I have a Black 2008 Vette)....Used Poor Boys Black Hole Glaze first, then I applied the BV and then PH...great depth, shine and beading...applied both Dodo's with a foam applicator and removed with microfiber... Couldnt be happier with my results... :D

I have a 2008 Black Vette...as others have said on here I dont think the product that you use is the real reason Pollen collects on these cars it seems that pollen just shows up on black more when compared to other colors... I just detailed the car with the following: Poor Boys Black Hole...

Black C6 here also...sounds like we have the same issue here..a few minor scratches here and there left over....curious as to the feedback...(noob to this whole machine polish stuff) :D
