I'm sorry the OP had a bad experience but I love 845. It is the best on wheels. Really protects through a long salty, chemically winter. I applied to my paint in March and it's still going strong. It will easily last until my October fall detail.

Gtechniq makes a product called C4 that's a permanent trim restorer. It is supposed to work amazingly well. You have to get it from their site in the UK. I have not used it personally, but I have used their C2 and it is an excellent sealant.

I have an 09 Miata and today was able to remove most swirling with a Lake Country Hydrotech tangerine pad and Menzerna Power Finish polish.

Try Klasse AIO. It took month old FK1000P residue off the textured plastic black trim around my side mirrors with ease.
