Best of the best cheap LSPs?

I like NXT TW 2. DC3 Carnauba I found good value for money and lasts well. Years ago,I used autoglym super resin polish, followed by 'extra gloss protection'. Also good products.probably not seen much in the states. I'm more interested in the work beforehand though. A lot of waxes are good if...

    When should you apply pressure??

There are so many variables here,it's hard to say. I do use a little pressure at the begining and ease off to the weight of the machine.

    Meguiars Soft Buff 2.0 Pads

I look at my pad from above, velcro up and place the plate as precise as possible. It's never 100%,but it's never 'out' far enough to create problems. I think if you place it on as best can be,it should be fine.

Rotary Buffer- Stick Handle - Hoop Handle - Or no handle at all

Hi Mike. I'm using a Milwaukee AP12QE. I've never put the handle on since the day I bought it. I just use the head of the machine. It works for me and is comfortable. It's also a great machine. Might not see it in the states. I think it is europe only. 220v.

Prestige Auto Detailing: 1999 Honda Accord

Nice work. I can see things in the engine bay now. Apart from work vans, that is the dirtiest vehicle I've ever seen. Are you not worried about passive smoking while detailing the interior? I've never seen tar & nicotene staining/residue like that. Look forward to seeing the rest...

    question about car polishers?

I like using a rotary buffer. I learned on old panels. I have never tried a DA,but I see excellent results from them. As mike said,it depends what you want to achieve, and how quickly you get there.

    Engine Detailing Question

Nice Work SRHTX :xyxthumbs: I had a big cleaning job with my bay about a month or two ago.A lot of oxidised aluminium. It took me quite a bit of time, and even removed some parts to get good all round polishing. I washed it down 3 times with the pressure washer. I'm more wary of steam cleaning...

Black Bumper and Trim w/ White Wax Marks

This has been on MOL plenty times. The above mentioned peanut butter was discussed by Mike. It's the vegetable oil in it. So that would do the same. Another person has told me that an old style eraser, the pink ones can remove this, but I havn't tried that yet. I have tried the vegetable oil...

    Plexus

Thanks. PlastX is good for headlights and suchlike. Things like instrument clusters are a bit more tricky/delicate. Sounds like plexus is a good choice here.

    Plexus

I've only used Meguiar's plastX. If anyone knows, how is the aggressivness of Plexus compared to other products, including 3M,meg's plastX and Novus? Novus has a 3 step system. Cleaner, heavy cut and fine polish.

    3M products

Hi,I'm currently using 3M's finishing material with my rotary, wool and foam and I'm very happy with the results that I get. Has anyone here used 3M Ultrafina? I'm thinking of this after using the above. I'm a bit limited for products at the moment, but I like the 3M products and is the most...
