Previous attempts to fix the paint were made with less aggressive products and pads. I was recommended the 105/205 combo. I'm fixing it right now, just had to do two coats of 205. Thanks though, I don't disagree with your reasoning.

Ok, so.. used 105 with a LC orange pad and PC, and this is what happened. I thought it was supposed to not mar the paint, or at most, mar it a small bit to be fixed by the 205, but this is worse than before! What did I do wrong?

I called, no answer. Tried a few other numbers of places that came up on the SW site, the only one I could get through to sells only to body shops..

It's funny, I actually just searched, and there's an automotive finishes store about 5 miles from my house. I'll have to give them a call and see if they've got the stuff and go check them out. I agree, do things right the first time, but paint correction is still somewhat new to me. Thanks...

Really? I don't know if I've ever seen one of those as an automotive store before, I'll have to check it out. In terms of the Wolfgang Combo, I was looking at that also and heard mixed reviews.. any ideas compared to Meguiars?

Yeah, that's what I figured as much. Gonna have to bite the bullet on the 105/205 combo, but I guess it'll be worth it. I can't find it retailed anywhere in stores though, which would be nice.
