    I recently upgrade my mytee firebird steamer to Dupray Tosca Steam. I only upgrade because mytee attachment broke after I had it for a year didn't feel like replacing the parts. I decided to upgrade it to a more durable steamer and didn't take long to heat and better psi.

    Dealers don't provide the clear they just tell its fine but it requires clear. Touch up paint becomes a single stage.

    The photos that you posted. Bumper has been resprayed. I can tell from factory vs repaint Dealership vendor (mobile bumper guys) use cheap production clear 2-5 years life. I work for a dealership dont trust the car fax. I Dealers want all damage/repairs fix asap before they go out on the line...

    You burned the clear coat. The best option is taking it to a shop they'll do blend repair.

    Just sanded it down and respray with rattle cans. Get the matching paint code. I would use a spray gun for clear coat. :props:

    Need help ASAP! Clear coat problem???

    Doesn't to seem to be clear coat failure. Does the clear feels rough it looks dry? That might be the cause body shop or painter sprayed a dry coat.
