    Thanks, I'll try the paint polish. I contacted Subaru and was told the indicator mark will fade over time.

    ONR is terrific

    Jenn, I wash and dry first, then clay, then wash again. On another note, I have had problems holding onto the clay. I've dropped the clay a couple times and had to throw it away.

    Just tried the Optimum No Rinse for the first time. I was very impressed with only having to use a couple gallons of water. I was even more pleased with the results. It helped that the car I used it on was just detailed a few days ago but the recent rain storm that blew threw messed up the nice...

    Factory mark on wheel

    I detailed a 2010 Subaru Forester and was unable to remove a factory indicator mark (blue) from the wheel. I tried using APC and a plastic razor blade with no success. Any suggestions on how to remove this mark would be appreciated. [/IMG]

    Thanks for all the replies. It's good to get a feel for some of the hard work involved in detailing. As I'm just starting out, I detailed my 07 Accord using no machines with the exception of a vacuum cleaner. As far as the exterior, it was super hard. I am in an apartment complex temporarily...
