    87' VW Scirocco

Been awhile since I have done one of these threads. Owner and friend called the other day and asked what I could do with the paint of his newly acquired Scirocco. He wanted the paint polished and the fantastic  red pin striping removed. Unfortunanly time did not allow me to take a lot...

The first post is not very clear and it seems as if people are posting show and shines. Can we post a show and shine if it was posted and the detail completed this month?

68' Ford Mustang GT Full Detail (Pic Heavy)

The next night after work it was time for the little things. After rewashing to remove dust and drying I was left with a very nice surface to start sealing and then waxing. The car was sealed with Black fire wet diamond paint sealant. And let cure over night. In the morning I applied...

68' Ford Mustang GT Full Detail (Pic Heavy)

The owner of this beautiful vehicle called me over the weekend on a reference from a friend of mine. We discussed what he wanted done to the vehicle and he chose one of my detail packages that included correction, interior and an engine bay cleaning. I would have to say that I'm completely beat...

What is the 'best' wash mitt?

Ive been using the ULTI-MIT Wash Mitt by Lake Country. I absolutly love it, its easy to clean all the grit out between the little grids and holds a ton of soap and keeps my finish perfect. It seems like its made of the same foam pad material that the Red LC finishing pad is made of.

Exterior correction on my own 98' VW GTI (Pic Heavy)

While doing my test section I started with the least aggressive method. I tried using M205 w/ white LC pad and it wasnt cutting through the swirls. I then stepped up to m205 on orange and it still wasnt giving me the correction that I wanted. Finally I stepped up to M105 on an orange pad and...

    overheating

What guage power cords are you all using? I know in the directions for my PC7424 it specifies that a 14g power cord and lower is to be used. The lower the guage # the bigger the cord will be. The bigger the better. I had overheating problems until I switched to the recommended guaged power...

    Your favorite interior protectant?

x2, 1z cockpit leaves a very oem looking finish. If the customer wants a little shine I will use the 1z for cleaning and top it with 303 protectant. Both look great depending on what you want. OEM Matte finish = 1z If you like a little shine go with 303

Black WOW or Meg's Ultimate Protectant

Yes I agree that it outlasts any other trim protectant. I've had that little bottle of black wow for a year now and still have quite a bit left. Use it quite a bit too. They key is very thin application. If streaking occurs use a damp MF towel to wipe clean and the streaking will be gone. It...

Black WOW or Meg's Ultimate Protectant

I think its greasy too, doesnt look greasy but to the touch it will be if it has not been properly wiped with a damp MF. It looks great and all but you need to apply it very lightly and make sure all residue is wiped off after it sits for awhile. My favorite exterior trim protectant at the...
