That probably would get it, yes. Try a small area and do a comparison. Someone else will know a bit more about the GM hardness of paint issues on this one. And #3 to end up with or even the 4 will probably put you right on target. Again, work a small area and see how it progresses.

I use the G's system all the time, and they work fine but am not running a paint correction shop, and not working with an older car. Their system is not an aggressive system, for that reason. It's not going to cut as you might need. Make sure also your surface was totally clean, clayed and pads...

When I was considering vinyl wrap for roof of my Bimmer, I was told by Megs and 3M that they did not recco buffing or waxing per se...but washing, and using a QuickSpray wax, and just hand buffing it out. I ended up with FlexPaint, from Germany, which is paint ON vinyl wrap, and can be buffed...

You are right on re: pricing..and the GG works great. It does not take much app and goes a long way. :buffing:

Thing is, the combo lasts. Used a lot of spray on detailers and waxes, and the GG performs. And it builds up nicely for sacrifice barriers. I often just spray, swipe it around and let it sit for some time--go back and buff it out. You don't have to, but its nice. It seems to have a bit more...

You'll love it...and when done and while damp, I spray on the their Spray Wax, dry it off and it lasts. I keep several sacrifice barriers on the wax...and the shampoo does not ruin the work...but the washing is great.

Then how about a decent, comfortable, clean, place to sit if someone came to visit or was waiting. Most shops are great on the noisiest and often cramped corners--read muffler-shop-deco here. I know, I know...space for most places is limited, but if you have the choice a nice place to sit down...

As above, & try to get a medium size container of the original ElbowGrease. Some of the newer substitutes are not as good as the older version of EG. The older formula was more dependable. :props: Oh & some older microfiber clothes or very soft toweling will help also.

You should have no problem. Once completely clean tho, get a good sealant, and wax on the rims, outside and in....this will just help keep b'dust from sticking quite as much, and help avoid scaring of the rim paint.
