All those are good choices. I have used them a lot. I like the ultima product best of that group at this point.

This is an example of the only kind of products I buy...works on any paint, on any machine, on any pad, and always produces consistent results. In detailing there are actually few products that do. That's why my shelf has only a handful of products.

To stay in the family I'd try D166 topped with ultimate fast finish and boosted once a month with D156. That's what I plan on trying.

A possible killer combo could be D166 topped with D156 after every wash. Longevity would be unlimited.

Ultima acrylic waterless wash. They took a few years to develop but wow it was worth the wait.

I think they should have had the twin turbo v6 as found in the raptor and drop the V8. I predict that will happen at some point. The V8 within 5 years will only be found at the drag strip

As a guy that used to use coatings then went back to conventional LSPs because of several reasons, I'm tempted to give them perhaps another try if this does indeed have a longer working time at a low cost. But I've heard this before over the years

TRC as well. They are years old and still perform like new. Never any shedding or linking. The eagle edgeless are all I use for things other than drying. I've simply not found a better value in terms of the quality you get for the money. I do however use the GG pfm drying towels for drying only

I use sonax PNS or fk1000. Also after each wash I hit the car with D156 which is a super hydrophobic product.

Sonax PNS and FK1000 are as close to a coating as possible. Actually I like them better. FK1000 plays nice with everything even AIOs as a topper. The best $17 you can spend and a tin lasts years.

In winter I hit it with a hp wand at local car wash to knock the crud off. Then go home and do my regular RW. It's rare that the car needs that depending on the weather. Both. I presoak with WW and wash with RW. Works perfectly every time. Not used a hose on my car in 3 years.
