First of all, I am completely new to car detailing. My car has few door dings and minor scratches. Will rubbing compound fix them or I have to go for touch up paint? I am thinking meguiar's rubbing compound or ultimate compound. Thanks!

Hello, I am thinking to use one of those self service car wash bays. I saw it has "waxing" option and after watched a few videos at youtube, it looks like to me the "waxing" is spraying some sort of liquid onto your car. Is this a real "waxing" and is it good? Thank you! jjf
