Using 4" pads with PC for entire car?

Thanks for all of the advice. I figured if I could use what I had with a PC then it would be faster than by hand (especially for swirl removal) then I would go for it. I will just wait until I have the funds to order a PC and pads together.

Using 4" pads with PC for entire car?

Thanks. I was thinking they were 4" pads. Glad I asked. Guess I need to wait a little longer and throw down for a complete package.

Using 4" pads with PC for entire car?

Greetings, I have a selection of 4" pads that came with my Polishing Pal. If I bought a PC and the 3.5" backing plate to use those pads would there be any drawbacks versus getting a larger backing plate and pads. Obviously, I would assume that there is a time savings using a bigger pad but that...

    DP rinseless question

Thanks Dwayne. I will use the rinse option. This is just for routine cleaning not stains so it should be fine.

    DP rinseless question

Thanks. I can see not using it mixed as a QD on the convertible top but as a wash I would think it would work. I will see what others say.

    Anybody using Pinnacle's Polishing Pal?

I work by hand and am contemplating getting the Pinnacle Polishing Pad kit with the different pads. Does anybody have any experience with it? Does it provide any advantage over just holding a pad in your hand? Any insight would be greatly appreciated to help me make my decision to buy. I know...

    ordering product samples

Thanks. I forgot to mention that I am working by hand. I am new to detailing and figured that this is the best way to try out some of the higher end products.

    ordering product samples

Greetings all, I have been looking at the samples that can be obtained when you order from AG or that can be purchased. I see most products are in the 2 oz range. Is one bottle of polish or wax enough for a normal size car? I have a new Mustang and may order stuff to try on a Lexus as well. Thanks

New to Detailing... Who invented claying?

I was trying out claying on my old Cherokee before I use it on the new Mustang and I couldn't help but wonder who thought about using lubricated clay to clean paint? It's amazing. Sorry for the noob question but I've turned into a detailing addict.

    303 and convertible top

Thanks for the links. Since over spray is an issue with RaggTop could you spray it on a foam applicator and apply it that way if using the non-aerosol version?

    303 and convertible top

Thanks for the great advice and different perspectives. I will look at both a little closer and make a decision. Sounds like both have their merits. And neither would be a bad choice.

    303 and convertible top

Greetings All, First time posting here. I have an 11 Mustang convertible with a black fabric top. After much reading it seems that 303 is a solid choice for protecting the top. My question is do I need to spring for the specific kit with the cleaner etc? Or can I just use regular 303 after I...
