    Better Value in Edge Pads

Oops, yes. I fixed my link as well. I agree edge pads are worth it. But is it worth buying the new wave edge pads, or purchasing the already put together kit of the original edge pads.

    Better Value in Edge Pads

I am looking to buy my first set of pads, specifically edge pads due to all the talk and positive reviews on this forum about the edge pads. My question is should I buy the original edge pads (They have a nice kit fo $100 The Edge Dual Action 6 Inch Kit includes The Edge 2000 DuraFoam Pads & a...

PB Bold & Bright - method for applying

You shouldn't spray it on directly. Rather spray the B&B on a microfiber, or a tire dressing applicaator, and apply it to the tire this way. Once applied you can choose to leave and let it dry, or let it dry for a minute and wipe clean with a terry cloth (preferably one you dont care about...

    Waffle Weave Drying Techniques

I use DP Pad Rejuvenator to wash all my MF including the waffle weave. When I drying I place them in the dryer on the low heat setting. Yea I thouhgt something was wrong, bc its almost like the waffle weave repels the water, rather than soaking it up. After time the water will eventually...

    Waffle Weave Drying Techniques

Unfortunatly the sheeting method is not available to me. I have to use the self serivce bays at night and hand wash my car. So all I have to rinse with is the pressure washer they provide.

    Waffle Weave Drying Techniques

What type of results do you usually see when drying with a waffle weave and what techniques do you all use? I tend not to get good results whether I drag the waffle weave along the car or apply the pressure. It never seems to 'soak' up all the water, rather it leaves a film of water...

Any detailer's in the Boston,MA Area?

Just wondering if there were any fellow Autogeekers or detailers in the Boston, MA area. I am struggling to find a place to wash my car and thought maybe we could help each other out. Otherwise a good reference to a detailer like Justin ( I hope one exists up here) would be great...

    Stripping wax and sealant

Dont use Dawn! Your car is not a kitchen dish. A simple paintclensing polish should do the trick. Even a polish like SSR1 would take off the wax and sealent when applied with a PC I beleive.

is it OK to use a quick detailer everyday?

I have used the OXO duster. As long as you move in one direction it works good I think. I usually follow us with PB S&W or a QD after words. Its a good midweek fix in between washes I think.

    Time Issue

I would say as long as the car is not too dirty, or you clean it on a regular basis youll be fine. Just make sure to dry the car off really good, maybe even using a QD. May want to consider applying PB Bug Squash prior to entering the wash, or even doing a waterless wash on spots the high...

    Teflon Coating and Polishing

That's what I have been trying to tell him. I hate how they try to sell you all that crap like simonizing. Its so not worth the price, and if people would simply take some time to care for their vehicle there would be no need for such 'extras'. Alright I will try to convince him again ( and...

    Teflon Coating and Polishing

Well now that I have the bug, my dad has been bite too. But he is concered that the teflon coating that the dealership put on his truck may be ruined by polishing. Anyone have any experience in this? I know you can wax the teflon, but what about polishing and sealing?

    DP wheel glaze?

As long as the wheel is not too dirty, you can simply spray with water and soap and reapply the wheel galze. It will act as a cleaner and galze. I have done this a few times and have had good results. But the DP wheel cleaner works great too, all depends what you have time for.
