I've owned both a 2015 Outback and a 2016 WRX. I never experienced this issue. :confused: The only thing I would use to clean/protect/maintain would be a bi-weekly wipe down with McKee's 37 FAST Interior Detailer. :xyxthumbs:
Long story short....
In March I picked up a 2013 Nissan 370Z (I still had my Civic Si). That gave me a taste of RWD.... ;)
This reminded me of what a pain in the butt it is to have two cars (plus my wife's car). Not to mention the cost of insurance! So I traded them both in for a brand new...
Heavy dirt and contaminants should be rinsed off prior to washing the car. Then, wash the vehicle as you normally would, except don't feel obligated to rinse off each panel after you wash it. Water, not soap, creates water spots. ;)

Hydro Blue won't stick to a quality trim protectant/restorer, so there will not be any "interference" between the two products.
You can remove Hydro Blue from plastic trim using 50/50 alcohol.
