    Folex leaving stains?

Agreed. The stain is probably diluted coffee. If there was a large amount of coffee spilled you will need a shop vac or extractor to remove what's below the surface to stop the wicking.

    F-150 Honeycomb Grill

I had the same problem with my F-150. I ended up taping it off and painting it. It looks great and is holding up well. Be shure to prep the surface.

Fresh paint: are detail sprays, waterless washes ok to use?

I detail for a local body shop when they get slammed and they do not like me to use instant detailers near the spray booth if I am working in the shop. Those products contain ingredients that can cause fish eyes in newly spray paint if they find their way to a prepped surface. I have used...

    Questioning Peoples Expertise?!?!!?

Fun thread, but on the serious side "LOL" I will try any procedure, method, product or tool that makes a ounce of sense to me. The thing is I always use my service truck as my lab. Never Never Never experiment on a customers car and you won't go wrong. So play and experiment with everything you...

    Questioning Peoples Expertise?!?!!?

I think the bottom line is simple. People come here for advice. If you give that advice, esp. if you are a professional, that advice should be based on your experience with the question asked. Not on something you read somewhere or saw somebody else do. Otherwise it's just a theory and theorys...

    Concrete on paint!

If you get a procedure for concrete that works and you trust, concrete removal can be a great profit center. Its alot of work and in our area we are seeing more and more of it not to mention the car owner who is beside themselves and the fact that you should charge more for a specialty cleaning...

    Concrete on paint!

I just had a Ford Escape at a dealership with this very same problem. It was the worse I've come across. I went over it with CLR and used a plastic razor blade to carefully scrape it off. Alternate with CLR and blade when done buff out the area. You do have to take your time and be careful with...

Dad-gum extractors ! Little man cant afford it !!

I've done some very nasty carpets over the past ten years and I have never owned an extractor. It's simple and it works. If you have a Porter Cable polisher you can get a brush attachment for it, get some Resolve Triple Action Carpet Cleaner and some cotton towels. Pre spray your stains with the...

    Show your mobile van setup!

I paid $600.00 each for the 2500 Honda's at a farm supply locally. I have seen Hondas go for well over a thousand. I figure I spent well over a thousand on the 3 bad gens with purchase price and the service bills to keep getting them repaired. I'm going on 6 years with these with minor servicing.

    Show your mobile van setup!

Hope you have better luck than I did. Went through 3 generatore before I got fed up and splurged for the Honda. I now have two, one for a back-up, but again I've been at this for 10 years and it does take time to get to a point where you can buy higher end equipment, but you will get...
