2nd Detailing on 2005 Black Corolla

Hi Sparkie, Thanks for you compliments. As for the Super Slick & Suds, I really like it, give me lots of suds and the leave a very soft and glossy finish. Let's see how it goes with EX-P Application in the next weeks.

2nd Detailing on 2005 Black Corolla

Happy New Year!! Saturday I took the day to make an exterior detail on my car. The process went on like this: - Washing with Poorboy's Super Slick & Suds - Clayed with 3M Clay Bar - Polished with Orange LC Pad with Menzerna's IP and Blue LC Pad with PO106FF via Circular Polisher - Sealed...

    EX-P vs. Klasse SG

On December, being in a tropical country, and the temperatures soften a bit, I decided its't time to detail my black Corolla, since the first time I used 3M Swirl marks remover for dark paints and... well you guessed it: After 6 months the old swirls joined the new ones as the fillers went away...

    How detail geek are you?

I don't like the wax with bare hands hand... can you imagine doing that and then have your nose itching or something... no no

Question on LC Pads and Rotary

I'll try IP first, but as I tell you the spoiler was bad finished after painting it. I'll get :Picture:to show . It seems it wasn't sanded because it doesn't have the same reflection as the bumpers and the trunk, just orange peel wherever you see it.

Question on LC Pads and Rotary

Hi Joe, Thanks, yes, I'll use a rotary so that's why I'm asking this question, since mostly of the pads/polish combinations in the forum are for PC. I'm looking forward to get rid of most of the swirls as they are light, so probably I'll just need IP and orange pad on a few scratches on the...

Question on LC Pads and Rotary

Hi All, I'm on my way to polish my Black Corolla for second time this year, since the first time I used the old 3M Perfeft-It Swil Marck Remover, and all it did was fill the swirls as they all came back greeting me in a no so friendly manner :( So I finally got Menzerna's IP, FPII and...

    More circular polishers info

abrcrombe: Thanks for the tip, I'll check that out... DS Detailer: I have already used the orbital a couple of times, once with my brother's car that is light gray, almost silver, but couldn't get rid of a few scratches it has and on my metalic black corolla and today I just saw a few lines I...

    More circular polishers info

Thanks abrcrombe, I was thinking more about online videos, thanks anyway. About being safer, yes I understand that, but having the circular already I prefer to learn to use it. :o

    More circular polishers info

Hi All, I have been looking around the forum for more info about the circular polishers. I own one, and used it a couple of times, but think I still need to learn more about it. All the videos I've seen around are about PC, and I think it would be really good to have videos where a circular...

    Newbie (sort of)

Thanks supercharged I've seen what Liquid Souveran can do, is really amazing, but as I just got P21s, I'll have to leave it when I need to fill up my supplies :D and also I've read it goes well with Klasse SG underneath, right?

    Newbie (sort of)

Thanks for the advice on the speed, actually I think 98% of the time I used less than 1000 rpm being careful and trying not to do any harm to the clearcoat. I think that as I used a very mild product (3M Swirl remover) it was kind of helpful. So SSRs are on the what to buy list. Is it right to...

    Newbie (sort of)

Hi All, I'm from Venezuela, just registered, although I have already ordered twice (although still waiting for the last one). I'm warning you, this is going to be a looooong post... I have already made a few things but still feel I'm missing a few things. Instead of buying a DA, I bought a...
