Meguiar's D301 Finishing Wax on Tinted Windows

Installer stated M37 is better and has the UV protection as well, which is always good. He has been recommending Brillianize because it is less expensive and has worked well for them. Says either is fine to use.

I don't either when I'm not using AIO... but try some Klasse AIO on your interior glass and that A/C won't work the same for fog.

Meguiar's D301 Finishing Wax on Tinted Windows

Of course I am worried... it's why I am asking questions and researching. Yes... $954 to be exact. There won't be any experimenting on my part... that's been done with what I plan to use, the M37 Plex-All, and it has been verified okay on all tints. None the less, I'll still apply it on my...

Need help with odor in car

Commercial Ozone Generator 6,000mg Industrial O3 Air Purifier Deodorizer Sterilizer from Amazon... I removed smoke odors from a car with it... watch YouTube videos on how to use it. They really do work. I'd use it in the trunk first, then if needed in the car. Fairly inexpensive...

Meguiar's D301 Finishing Wax on Tinted Windows

Okay... so I thought you were using it on interior tinted windows... different application.

Meguiar's D301 Finishing Wax on Tinted Windows

That sounds similar to Klasse AIO, which I have always been a super big fan of over the years, although now that I use CQuartz, it means AIO is not in the picture any longer for the exterior anyway. So you have not had any issues with fog using the HD Speed? I would sure think it is super...

Meguiar's D301 Finishing Wax on Tinted Windows

Exactly... I don't want to risk the possibility of abrasive wax... and D301 might be okay, but now I am more worried about any wax being too hydrophobic for the interior. I remember applying Klasse AIO on my interior glass once a long time back, and at first it was okay, but then there came a...

Meguiar's D301 Finishing Wax on Tinted Windows

Yes... as explained in the first post... specifically mentioning "aftermarket tinted windows" and the brand name of the tint, "Spectra Photosync"... and working towards what they recommend to protect it... it's all about the inside windows being tinted and protected. Thanks!

Meguiar's D301 Finishing Wax on Tinted Windows

The objective is to protect it as the factory recommends... and to make it easier to clean... and help with fog if the happens to be a side benefit of whatever I use.

Meguiar's D301 Finishing Wax on Tinted Windows

The M37 Plex-All sounds similar to the Brillianize actually. It makes sense that it has some sort of polymers in it for protection. I think I'll try it, especially since it has the anti-fog abilities.

Meguiar's D301 Finishing Wax on Tinted Windows

Not insisting on anything... simply inquiring about various products and possibly use what Prestige Spectra Photosync says is best to use. They state a silicone wax will prevent oxygen from penetrating the tint and therefore prevent oxidation. However, I also want to be careful and not get...

Hmmm... may need to scratch the Ultimate idea too since it is hydrophobic ...

Meguiar's D301 Finishing Wax on Tinted Windows

Yes... this would be on the inside and applied by hand. I decided to call Meguiar's and inquire about D301. According to "Brian" the D301 does not have any abrasives in it and should be okay on tint if applied by hand with a foam pad. He says he might not use a microfiber pad to apply it...

Meguiar's D301 Finishing Wax on Tinted Windows

Being that D301 is silicone and carnauba wax... would it not be okay to use on aftermarket tinted windows? Applied by hand of course. Spectra Photosync dealer stated Brillianize (plastic polish) or some sort of silicone wax was best to use, so I was thinking the D301 would be sufficient...

You don't get any hazing in rain with that Col 845? I thought I read somewhere here that others had issues with it.

    Windshield wiper haze when raining...

They could have very well put something on it and not made me aware of it. I remember they told me that it had some extras that the dealer they got it from had already done to it, but since we had already agreed on a price, they obviously could not charge me for it. However, I did use the...

    Windshield wiper haze when raining...

The FlyBy30 was put on the Lexus, which did not have anything from the dealer on it, at least not that we were told. Only the Civic has the car protection treatment. I do have some M105. I used Fixer polisher on the windshield before applying FlyBy30. This is what I was instructed to do by...

    Windshield wiper haze when raining...

Strange... the CarPro kit I purchased came with FlyBy30 and Ceriglass. I was instructed not to use the Ceriglass on a new windshield because I would risk scratching it. There is a bit of irony in having to use the Ceriglass to remove the FlyBy30 so I can see clearly out of the windshield. I...

    Windshield wiper haze when raining...

My wife just got her a new 2013 Lexus ES350 and after buying it I took it straight home, cleaned and polished it, then treated the car with Cquartz... and the treated the windshield with FlyBy30 from CarPro. This past weekend was the first time we have driven it in the rain... and at night. As...
