Alright I had to wash the car today and I noticed in some areas I have very slight spider swirls. What is the easiest way to remove them?

Has anyone over used the Red pad to remove wax or the blue pad for wax removal and final buffing? if so what technique is proper?

Yup that is why Im ordering those products. Thanks again James. I would like to use those other products since I got a deal on them. Just needing some advice on pad choice for each product before I place my order with autogeek.

I tried that, I had lots of issues with holograms and swirls.

I dont think that is the case. I have hand detailed this car several times under the halogen light and never saw any holograms. minor swirls but no holograms. I just want to figure this out, makes no sense. I talked to James, we are going to meet up and try and figure out what the heck is...

Tried again today. The polisher is only rotating under light or no pressure. It still is oscillating but no spinning under any sort of pressure. think there is something wrong with the polisher? Im in Richmond Hill, GA. Very close to Savannah/Hinesville.

Tried what you suggested. Make a small difference. The more pressure I put on the polisher the less it rotates.:buffing:

I have some of the pink stuff that a friend game me. I haven't used it yet. I used the stuff in the red bottle from advance autoparts.

12 x 12 5-6 passes 4.5 speed pad primed with meg quick detail, dry buffing with microfiber that was in the kit. Here are some pics after making 6 passes with the orange pad and m205......

I should have ordered the wool pad for the da and the white cutting pad. I'll see what the orange pad with the m205 will do.

The kit comes with the gray finishing pad. I thought I was to use the orange pad with the m105 and the gray finishing pad with the m205. Should I try to make a few passes with the orange pad with the 205?

I tried that on a different area. same deal.

I suppose. But the only pads I have are the grey and orange smart pads, the only compounds I have are m105 and m205. I scared to keep using them, since that is what created the holograms. Or like others have said those holograms may have been there before.... I just need some help to get them...
