    Griots new 3" polisher

OK, a lot of great input as usual. I think I will order the new optimum polishing pads as IID suggested and keep the model I have. I'm gonna try this and report back.:buffing:

    Griots new 3" polisher

Has any one used the upgraded version of Griots garage 3" polisher. I have the older less powerful model that I use frequently but I am less than thrilled with its results. I have the 6" polisher which is my go to unit and I love that one. Just curious if someone out there had both the older...

Thanks Mike, I used the mothers hard water remover yesterday for the first time and had outstanding results. I always appreciate the help and advice you and your forum subscribers give. My year old business certainly isn't thriving just yet, but with a new election hopefully will come a...

Well I pulled the trigger..I picked up the Griots "6 Polisher...

I have both the PC and the griots. The griots is a monster compared to the PC, very heavy duty unit and that's all i use it for. The PC is way lighter and much easier to handle on a normal car due to the side handle. I have already had my griots replaced free so you can't beat the warranty...

    Hard water

Hi guys, I am having a problem with dried hard water spots on my windshields. I actually had my first complaint about my work this last week and before the customer said anything I knew it was the windshield. I'm using Chemical Guys window wash diluted and not diluted. The amount of...

How NOT to use a Rotary

This guy makes me look like a professional and I've only been doing this kind of work since September. He acts like he's got some where else to be. It takes me two days to do a complete interior and exterior and that's with everything being taped. No wonder I'm not making any money!

Re: Hey Ssizlin your answer awaits SSizzlin you asked me in my thread to let you know about the power of the GG orbital. Well after a couple of weeks of use I find it to be the same unit as before. Just following up.

    New happy member

After two years part time; I started full time last September and taught myself everything from this site. although I don't use many of the products here the videos are top notch. I made many mistakes. Believe it or not my first paid detail was a 2009 BMW sport coupe. He loved it. I found...

A full year later a new machine

I don't do any damp sanding but good to know. I always thought that GG should make a long buffing pad kind of like a toilet paper roll without any toilet paper on it so you could get between all the grills and smaller parts of a car that you would never use an RO on. You would buff with the...

A full year later a new machine

I have a PC 7346 as well as a rotary. I hate the rotary and the PC doesn't have nearly the guts that GG has. Although it's much lighter and easier to work with. The GG with the power cord is almost 8 lbs. The PC is only six with the cord. I throw in the cord because I'm on a ladder a lot...

A full year later a new machine

Hello, I purchased a new griots 6" polisher from auto geek on 6/7/11 the day after my birthday. [a gift from the lovely wife] Last week while using it on a 32' yacht, removing heavy oxidation with a wool pad it broke. Now mind you I am not the kind of guy who is particular about taking care...
