Help - plastic screen stained by 303

Well folks, this is a new one for me. I've always used 303 interior protectant with no issues. But today I over sprayed some 303 on my dash and it splattered up onto a small plastic screen that sits up high, on the center of my dash. I thought I wiped it off, but after the detail I went for a...

Just a quick rinseless wash and Cicada removal scrub.

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Wrapped up the detail on my WRX: - As noted a few posts back, I started with claying the paint. - Wolfgang swirl remover 3.0, single pass with a white pad using the OG Griots dual action polisher - Poorboys black hole glaze - Collinite 476, two coats - Gave the engine bay a wipe down, vacuumed...

Review: Collinite No. 845 Insulator Wax

Yep, the old baby bottle warmer is the key to making 845 easy to use. I've used both 845 and 476 and never had any hazing issues. I have no garage and have to apply wax in the sun or light shade. As long as I apply it thin, it comes off easy-peasy and never hazes.

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Clayed my new WRX. Man, it's only got 82 miles on it and I can't believe the amount of crud that came off on the clay. I bought the Meguiars clay bar kit, which has a bottle of quick detailer and 2 bars of clay. I went through both bars and the entire bottle of detailer. It's a good reminder...

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Not much to show, but I spent a hour and half under my new WRX spraying it with Fluid Film.

Does everyone really need a $100+ DA buffer?

The only polisher I've ever owned is the G6. For a weekend warrior who does this as a hobby it's perfect.

Well that's bloody fantastic! Love the Martini livery. Those wheels are sick (as the kids like to say).

    2019 Mustang GT hand polished

True, except my dual action polisher and pads are all packed up. It would have taken me at least an hour to move a bunch of crap around in my shed to find the box with the polisher. I also don't have a garage, so using power tools on the car means getting out my 50' extension cord to run to the...

    2019 Mustang GT hand polished

Thanks! Yea, the back was bugging me before the detail. Sometimes it's just easier to grab the foam pad vs. dragging out the power tools. There's a certain Zen with the hand polishing too. :)

    2019 Mustang GT hand polished

Man, I haven't detailed the GT in, oh...., 9 months? Between the pandemic, life, and work, I just haven't gotten around to it. And my old back has been giving me issues. Anyway, Griot's waterless wash, Klasse AIO by hand, Griot's spray wax, Poorboy's trim dressing, tire shine of some kind. 303...

Did a quick waterless wash and spray wax this morning. The humidity is already so high almost nothing quite dried out.

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Timed myself this morning to see how fast I could do a decent waterless wash and spray wax, including doing the wheels with the waterless and wax. 25 and half minutes. Not bad. I didn't do the interior. Just the top, body, and wheels. Used a lot of microfiber, but it came out well. Griots...
