What kind of buffer and pads will you use? That was the only thing I hated about my STi was the super thin paint. I'd be careful around the chips and scratches down to the paint. On my old car I buffed around it and the pad grabbed an edge of a chip and made it bigger. On a side note, Any mods?

I recently got the Flex 3401 kit with CCS pads and pad cleaner and conditioner. What's the best way to clean the pads with this cleaner? I spray the pad and soak it in a bucket with warm water then use a Terry cloth to wipe off the residue. Would a brush of some sort help? I also tried the...

I like to try and save too. I've been using folex or diluted megs apc and just scrubbing with a brush. I then use my Stanley wet dry vac to extract and its been working well for me. I saw that there are brush attachments for Porter cables, that might help with scrubbing stubborn stains.
