    Please help.... Very Confused

Thank you for the reply. What is the best light to get? Is it common practice to use the same polish/compound and use a grittier pad BEFORE going to a gritter compound? Or can you do it the other way around? Personal preference? How about my question just using 400 grit only and the paint...

    Please help.... Very Confused

Thank you very much for the replies! The Menzerna 3401 kit seems like a solid way to go. Couple questions: The different bottles with different #s are different grit right? These grits, should be matched with the correct color pad right? So what pad color matches to what grit level? And what...

HELP! My First Kit - Confused

I watched the videos you linked me. They helped alot. Looks like you just wipe away with a microfiber. Question: Can you use the Collinite 845 with a Carnuba wax together since the 845 works itself in and the carnuba stays on top?

HELP! My First Kit - Confused

Also, do you apply the polish with one, lets say orange pad and then take it off with another virgin orange pad? Making is necessary to buy 2? Or does the compound/polish dissolve with the heat/motion of the machine?

HELP! My First Kit - Confused

That makes sense. So, in most peoples suggestions to me they suggest two polishes. I would start with the lightest one and go to the next level if I did not like it correct? Also, how does one really apply the polish? Smear it, then use the flex right? Does it so of disappear and that's when...

HELP! My First Kit - Confused

Thank you for the replies. This being liquid wax, do you apply it via the machine or by hand? I assume it dries just like carnuba and then you wipe it off?? Also, While my car is older I do not see the oxidation that I do on some. Ive kept it in reasonably good shape. So my question is, if I...

I am totally new to polishing. I want to step up my game if you will...I have always washed, clayed and waxed my cars. I have never gotten into the details. I have been doing more reading that posting here and other places for good buffers. My research has led me to Flex and Cyclo. More...
