    Best paste wax under $40?

I'll put in a nod for Meguiar's M26 when considering cost; looks great, and the little bit of synthetic mixed in there helps make it easy to use and extends the longevity a bit...

    2011 Mustang GT- NightMare!!

I had a WRX, but it was used and out of warranty... My current Mustang is tuned and blown. I needed a new rear axle due to a faulty slip-fitting. The initial adjuster denied it because he said it was "moved 1/2" on the left side". I called Ford ESP and had them review it and they decided there...

    2011 Mustang GT- NightMare!!

Why do you say Subaru voids the warranty if you re-tune the engine? It's not technically true, nor is it even legal (Magnuson Moss Warranty Act is the basis of the theory that they cannot void your warranty due to aftermarket parts). If you change the tune and the tune itself is the cause of the...

    Sealant over a Glaze

I think the "waste" talked about in using a DA to apply the product is in loading up the pad. There should still be a thinner coating left on the paint than by hand.

    Sealant over a Glaze

Generally speaking, it's always recommended to apply a sealant over a glaze, because most glazes wash away quickly (although I don't know the details of the specific glaze you used in this case).

What product would you use on this...

Never Dull on the pipes. Clay to remove contaminate from paint surface, then on to Megs 105/205 if you feel you need to compound and polish. Picking the pads for 105/205 has a lot of variables, but for 105 compound, white pad is safe place to start, and up to orange pad if white doesn't do it...

waxed new lexus and now its chipping

Are those panels you're having trouble with steel, aluminum, plastic, etc.? I've seen several problems over the years with re-paints where paint chips and peals. Usually it's non-metal parts that haven't been properly prepped for the paint to adhere and/or the paint wasn't properly mixed with...

I have a PC-XP, used it on about 6 cars so far and it hasn't fallen apart yet. I have a lot of other PC tools also, tools that I've used for years, and no problems with any of them. You guys need to keep in mind that: A) PC sells a couple hundred thousand (or even a couple million maybe) tools...

Advice on a new silver Infinity G37

Detailers make this mistake when they post about customer's cars, but since you're now an owner, you should start spelling it with an "i", not a "y", as in "Infiniti". Congrats on the new car- the G is a really a great car.

Can you post a quick review when you use that leather scent spray? I would consider buying some if I knew it really worked-- i.e. smells real and lasts a while..
