BINGO! Already answered. It was there and still is there. :xyxthumbs:

The washer is in place. There is also no wear marks on the back of the backing plate at all. There is no signs of damage from the back side. This is not the issue.

Definitly don't have a new polisher yet. On mine, the washer was installed...

Well, I guess I coulda checked this before I responded. The backing plate is not spinning in itself. It has 4 rivet looking guys in there. I put the wrench on it and tried to turn it while holding the top and it would not turn at all. There was no flex at all... Oh well. Any other...
