Need advice for chrome on '58 Corvette

I have had this car for going on 30 years. It was fully restored in the late '90's to show quality. There is tons of chrome (triple plate) on this car and I have always maintained it only using Sprayaway glass cleaner. The car has been garaged in a heated garage with a dehumidifier, but I am...

So I bought a PC because I'm familiar with the brand and have several of the their woodworking tools that have lasted for years. I also bought a Meguiars DA Microfiber correction kit, Zaino clay bars, Garry Dean detail juice, and some MF towels including a couple of the borderless blonde Zaino...

Not sure where to start but maybe a little history since this is my first post here. I am a private, not for profit collector with several cars. One from the fifties, one from the sixties, and one from 1970. I am a full time HVAC technician and like to think of myself as pretty handy in most...

    Saying hello

Yeah, I've always thought 58-60 Corvettes were the best classic body design and after hand sanding mine, prepping it for paint I realized that there is not one flat section on the entire car. It's like sanding an egg. My car was restored in the early 90's and also has single stage lacquer...

    Saying hello

New to the site and there's a lot to absorb. I will be doing a lot of reading in my spare time to bring myself up to speed. I own several vehicles, from a fifties car chrome laden car, with lacquer paint, to a newer foreign (german) car, so I'm sure there's a variety of products out there.
