Looking for a Rotary Polisher - Recommendations?

Richy is a 100% correct. Those that think differently are not very proficient with the rotary. Just because you have used a tool for years doesn't mean you know how to use it to it's full potential. A tool is only as good as the tool using it. Richy I am sure you would beat Paul Dalton as...

Cadillac Black - constant cob webs

You are dealing with a very hard clear coat so your process is too weak for the correction. It would be a wise investment to pick up Megs MF kit in 5 inch, then work your way down to foam finishing. Also make sure you do a solvent wipe down after every correction pass. Do not use mineral spirits...

CONFUSED - Induced Holograms With A DA?!?!

I understand what you are saying and I can respect that but people are to quick to call for help instead of trying to figure out how to solve their own problems. Yes I did ask questions but then again I am not a pro like the OP is, plus I was learning tricks of the trade. I was there with 6...

CONFUSED - Induced Holograms With A DA?!?!

I have meet the guy and yes he is direct and to the point, and at times harsh, but you would learn a lot from all the knowledge he has. I spent a few hours with him and learned a lot, so what I am saying before talking like you have it might be best to meet that person in person.

    In your opinion...

Well, I am sorry to burst your bubble Flash, I am not Dana, have meet him several times though, great guy by the way. I am on other detailing forums for years so I know who you are and how you like to play games at times, which is fine, everyone has their own way of doing things. See there...

    In your opinion...

That is because you are clueless about tools. I know if you looked up all the problems with the Griots you would find a lot more failures. Anyway, if you prefer your pos Griots over the Porter Cable, and you are happy with it, then I am as happy as well for you my Sausage Fingers buddy.

    In your opinion...

And your point being Flash, I am willing to bet most of the fault is because the tool was being used beyond it's intended use, that would pretty much cover most tool failures, unless it is a pos like the Griots. I have 8 Porter Cables that are over 15-20 years old and never had any problems out...

    In your opinion...

Actually it isn't a joke. The pc when used correctly and by someone that knows exactly what they are doing there is no real difference. I have owned the Griots and since it is a POS I just threw it away. I will take quality over any tool any day over something that might have slightly more...

    In your opinion...

The Porter Cable, quality alone trumps the other tools.

    What Speed...?

Used them on numerous vehicles and about 10 vettes on speed 6 on my pc and no problems. I do like how whenever someone complains about a product it is always the products fault, never the user of the product. It is easier to point blame towards someone or something else than admit fault. One...
