    Pollen and rust

Hi Mike. On an episode of Competiton Ready I believe you said something about using water to remove pollen could lead to rust in areas where the pollen isn't fully rinsed away and settles. Did I hear you correctly? If so, how should I be removing pollen from my car's paint. Thanks in advance.

    Carpet Cleaning

I'm going to clean the carpets in my 97 civic tomorrow. I've been reading as many posts and threads that I can find about carpet cleaning. Here's the procedure I think might work. 1. Vacuum thoroughly. 2. Spray carpets with a diluted all purpose cleaner (APC) good number of people prefer...

    Rinseless Question

Would this include bugs on the front bumper and the dirty parts behing the wheel wells? Those are the areas I feel I need to scrub to get clean and I'm afraid to scrub with the rinseless products.

    Rinseless Question

What steps can I take to make sure I'm not introducing any new scratches while using a rinseless product or any carwash for that matter? A quick spray with the high pressure hose at the coin op (no soap just water)? Increas the amount of rinseless product in the same amount of water? Add grit...

    Realistic Daily Driver Expectations

Thanks for the feedback. I'll start using the pressure washer @ the coin op instead of the touchless. Then ONR at home. How does that sound? Quick question. This morning there was some tree debris along with dew. Some came off during the drive to church. How can I safely remove the rest...

    Realistic Daily Driver Expectations

I have two cars that are outside 24/7. No matter what I do the car will be covered with dew and who knows what else the next morning. Am I wasting my time? Would I better off going to the $5 touchless , letting the drive home dry it off, dress the tires, clean the windows and call it a day?

Chilly night for you I'm afraid. Do you fish? There are some great trout streams in the Western part of the state.

    Hello from NC

Thanks for the warm welcome. I don't have a machine for polishing. For right now I'll be providing the "passion behind the pad". Great line by the way.
