Ok, so I was using the brush that was suggested to clean out the pad and not compressed air. I would clean the pad every other section.
It's possible I wasn't cleaning the pad well enough, or that I should be cleaning it every section. Using too much is another possibility. The car was in my...
I was doing some correction work today using D300 and the corresponding cutting pad from Meguiar's. I was having a HARD time removing the D300 after working over the section. I thought this was odd because everything I've read about D300 says it's easy to work with.
What was I doing wrong...
I had Sprint for two years and dropped them at the first chance for Verizon. The call quality was crap in my area (Bolingbrook) and the download speeds were also pretty horrible when I'd commute to Chicago.
Verizon seems to be consistent with their 4G coverage. The big downside is no...
Hi! You've discovered a wonderful resource for car care here at Autogeek. If you haven't already, I recommend signing up for the VIP emails! Those are some crazy good deals.
Also, I'm from Bolingbrook. Finally, the weather is turning nice!
This tax would be on those businesses making 1M+ in revenue. Also, each state needs to prove the business with the tax table for that state. This must be provided for free. If a business collects the tax and remits it to the state as the state has said it should, than that business is not...
Truth, I think this sums up how I feel pretty well. Sometimes there's those nooks and crannies.
I also haven't found a good way to do tires yet either.
I used to use these, but then they started linting really bad after only a few wash/use cycles. Granted this was in 2010 so they might be of a higher quality now.
I don't dry my MFs in the dryer (at least I didn't used to). The reason? I used to use dryer sheets in my dryer and they can leave a "film" on the dryer bin that can rub off during other cycles. Because of this I got into the habit of air drying my towels.
We don't use the dryer sheets...
I don't like the 600s too much. It might be something I'm doing when cleaning them, but they seem to smear around QD instead of absorbing it. As a finishing towel they're pretty great.
I've found that whatever applicator I use, it gets really really nasty. I just can't get my tires clean enough so that the applicator doesn't get gunked up by the dirt left over.
Because of this, I buy generic foam applicators and throw them away after a couple of uses.
