    Protecting roush exhaust (wax?)

I just got my stainless Roush axleback exhaust for my mustang in the mail. What is the best way to protect this from corossion/pitting? I know there is metal polish, but wondering if I would use a wax on it instead for better protection? Thoughts?

Cleaning and Protecting new Mustang Leather

I have a 2012 mustang with Brick Red and Cashmere interior (see avatar). I noticed the other day a faint black stain on the passenger seat and a few small grayish stains on the drivers seat. Since i bought the car, I have used Pinnacle Leather & Vinyl Cleaner and Pinnacle Leather Cleaner &...

Looking for a Detailer in Atlanta area

im just afraid as a daily driver its going to be a waste. Spend 400 dollars on a base level detail, then it rains and there it goes. Or here in atlanta where pollen coats everything like a blanket, i have to wash it myself and there goes that $400.

Looking for a decent light weight car cover

I am sick and tired of coming out of work every day to see bird crap burning its way through my precious black paint. I have decided to just put a cover on the car while at work. I had one years ago for my fox body for winter storage. Thing was like canvas, and a real pain in the ass. Anyone...

OK to rinse before using ONR?

I am still too nervous to do a full rinse-less wash. Is it ok to rinse off the car before using ONR? I would still be using half the water because there would be no rinsing afterwards...

Black 2012 Mustang - Years of disappointment in detailing has lead me here

Of definitely. I had been lurking here looking for a detailer in Atlanta. I've read that Ed with HighEndDetail is a great choice, as well as Bryan of Peach State Detail. I sent Ed a PM so hopefully he'll get back to me. I couldn't tell if he has a website though...

Black 2012 Mustang - Years of disappointment in detailing has lead me here

Yea I think that is where I am going to start. Have the car professionally done, and then learn the proper techniques to maintain and eventually feeling comfortable enough to do it all myself.

Black 2012 Mustang - Years of disappointment in detailing has lead me here

Thanks so much for the tips and tricks. Side question. The pads, and microfiber cloths get pretty dirty after you use them. Are they ever washed or only used once or maybe only a few times and then discarded?

This helps a lot thanks. What exactly is an all-in-one? What does LSP stand for? Any specific products you would recommend for a black car?

Black 2012 Mustang - Years of disappointment in detailing has lead me here

You are right. I guess I should say that I am not opposed to spending money and buying power tools, i am just afraid of spending the money and having it be a waste because I just won't get the hang of it or whatever. This is actually what I was thinking of doing. Taking it to a local detailer...
